PARKING INFORMATION
AN EVENING WITH BAND OF HORSES & DINOSAUR JR.
Options for reaching the venue are limited to the following:

Free parking and shuttle service at the Asheville Mall: No reservation is required!

Paid parking in temporary concert parking areas surrounding the venue. These spaces must be reserved in advance!

Ride-share (Uber, Lyft) or Drop-Off: All Ride Share will drop off at 9 Mulvaney St.

ADA drop off: See ADA section below

Public Transportation, Bike or Walk: Bike parking will be available. If choosing to walk to the venue, please be sure to follow the no-parking guidelines above.
ALL SURFACE PARKING SURROUNDING THE VENUE IS PAID PARKING & MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE.
Paid Parking in the Salamander Lot
$30/vehicle. Parking opens 30 minutes before gates. Please present your pre-purchased parking ticket to the attendant for entry.
Guests purchasing parking in the Salamander Lot will receive wristbands from our parking attendant allowing them skip-the-line priority entry at Entry 2. These wristbands are available for every member of your vehicle’s party, so take advantage and carpool! This lot is also conveniently located a short pedestrian path away from Hellbender’s Entry 2 entrance. Note that this path is flat, but unpaved. The distance is approximately 100 yards walk to the entry gate from the northwest corner of Salamander Lot.
Cars must be removed from paid lots by midnight. Vehicles remaining after midnight may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
Paid Parking in the Water Dog Lot
$20/vehicle. Parking opens 30 minutes before gates. Please present your pre-purchased parking ticket to the attendant for entry.
Guests purchasing parking in the Water Dog lot will cross Glendale Avenue and enter Hellbender via the Main Gate, accessible one block away at the end of Thompson St.
Cars must be removed from paid lots by midnight. Vehicles remaining after midnight may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
Paid Parking in the Swannanoa Lot is NOT available for this show.
ADA Parking
Guests with ADA needs may use Thompson Street for drop-off directly at the main gate. Hellbender does not maintain any private parking and all paid parking in the area is owned by neighboring properties and is not necessarily ADA compliant.
As a courtesy, the venue provides a limited number of complimentary parking spaces near the main gate for guests with ADA placards or accessible license plates, available on a first-come, first-served basis. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
No-Parking Areas
**There is NO street parking surrounding the venue on Swannonoa River Road (NC81), Thompson St., Simpson Street, or Glendale Road. The City of Asheville will be actively enforcing no parking along shoulders throughout the area**
**There is NO free parking or event parking in the residential section of Glendale Ave. and surrounding streets, whatsoever**
Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas may be ticketed or towed per city policy.
Please Respect Our Community
Hellbender is locally owned and operated, and being respectful to our neighbors is important to us. We ask that when coming to enjoy a concert, all concert-goers be respectful of surrounding property owners.
At all times, please:
Respect neighboring businesses and residences. Follow all No Concert Parking signs and Do Not Park in residential areas. No Parking rules will be strictly enforced; unauthorized vehicles may be towed or ticketed.
Use designated parking areas only.
Dispose of trash properly.
Be respectful of others when leaving the venue at the end of our concerts
